Woman in Halloween makeup needs to go to hospital. Other patients freak

A professional dancer named Jai Fears from Michigan was 3 hours into getting zombie makeup done for a Halloween marketing campaign when what has now been diagnosed as a panic attack hit her. She couldn't swallow and she was having difficulty breathing. She asked to be rushed to the hospital. She walked into the ER while the driver went to park the car.

She was still wearing the zombie makeup and people began freaking out when she walked through the door. Not just other patients either. She had rotten, bloody, burned flesh all over her face and nurses rushed her into the trauma unit, talking about she was in shock. She says she never mentioned it because she assumed medical professionals could tell she was wearing makeup. The nurses say they believed she had suffered a horrific injury and when she was telling them she was simply having trouble breathing and swallowing it was part of the injury that she was in shock and didn't even realize what had happened to her.

Fortunately, she recovered from her panic attack.

The hospital wasn't very happy about her showing up in the costume and released a statement saying, "The emergency room is not a place for fun and games. They see many patients with severe medical issues where lives are at stake. Doctors need to be able to focus on those patients with true emergencies."

Jai says she wasn't playing around and really was in need of real medical attention.
