A young boy in Peru went viral after a video clip surfaced online of him doing homework under street lamp. Víctor Martín Angulo Córdoba didn’t have electricity in his home, but that wasn’t going to stop him from pursing his education dreams and becoming a police officer one day.
Many people were touched by clip, including a millionaire from Bahrain who flew across the country to provide life-changing gifts for Victor and his community. Yaqoob Yusuf Ahmed Mubarak, an importer and chocolatier, said the boy’s determination reminded him of his own childhood. He’s rebuilding the family’s home and upgrading Victor’s school facilities in addition to paying for his educational expenses.
As if that wasn’t enough, Yaqoob also gifted him with clothes, cash, and extended his kindness by giving Victor’s friend a new wheelchair. To top all of that off, the millionaire wants to help Victor’s mom,Rosa, start a small business. While everything is being rebuilt the city’s Mayor also stepped in ensure the family has electricity.
