A Minnesota teenager who always wanted to go to Disney World worked hard baking and selling thousands of cupcakes so he could take his family there. The trip to the Florida theme park is expensive and Isaiah Tuckett’s family couldn’t afford it, so two years ago at age 12, he began making and selling cupcakes and saving his profits to pay for the trip himself.
Her baked his treats for proms, graduations, birthday parties, and weddings and charges $20 for a dozen. In just a year, he’d saved around $4,500 - enough to buy plane tickets, Disney World tickets, and pay for hotels for his mom, dad, siblings and nephew.
“I was really surprised and proud of myself,” the teen says. Now he’s saving for his next goal: a blue Ford pickup he’ll be able to drive in two years.
