Muslims raise money for Jewish victims in Pittsburgh

On Saturday a gunman walked into a Synagogue after announcing on social media that all he wants to do is kill Jews and proceeded to kill 11 people. He also wounded 6 more.

Tarek El-Messidi, a Muslim-American speaker and founder of CelebrateMercy  went to the crowdfunding site LaunchGood, and started a fundraising campaign to help shooting victims, "whether it is the injured victims or the Jewish families who have lost loved ones". Its original goal of $25,000 was raised in "only" six hours. As of this morning they had hit $113,820!

Another fundraising campaign was started on GoFundMe by Shay Khatiri, an Iranian who currently lives in Washington, DC. As of this morning it had raised $548,658!
