A police officer in Pennsylvania went above and beyond the call of duty recently to help an elderly man. Roger Baker needed to get to the local hospital to see his wife of 61 years after she had a medical emergency and was taken there by ambulance. But Roger explained to the Montoursville Police Department Police Chief Jeff Gyurinano who was at the scene, that he had no loved ones nearby to drive him to visit her. So the Chief gave him his cell number and said call me in a few hours and I'll make sure you get a ride.
Chief Baker had Deputy Chief Bentley from the responded to the call and escorted Baker to the hospital. In a Facebook post on the department’s Facebook page says Bentley held Baker’s hand, walked him inside, and waited with him until hospital workers brought a wheelchair to take him to see his wife.
