Man Shovels Driveways For A Dozen Strangers

After working his full-time job as leasing agent for big rigsPhillip Grace of Kansas City, Missouri, has been spending his off hours navigating snowy roads to shovel driveways for families he barely knows.

KSHB-TV reports that Phillip had an idea that some of his neighbors wouldn't be able to shovel the heavy snow so he posted on Facebook that if anyone needed help just send him their address and he'd get there as soon as he could.

One recent recipient of Phillip's kindness was Gail Spotts. Her daughter Emma was worried she’d be stuck at home because her driveway was buried in snow and her mom is confined to a wheelchair so she asked Phillip for help.

Gail says watching Phillip clear the snow has restored her faith in humanity.

That was his first of the day but certainly not his last. After taking care of Gail's driveway, he cleared 13 more for families across the area!

Phillip says he simply wants to help anyone who needs it, especially older residents and people with mobility challenges. He hopes his efforts inspire others, saying that if neighbors support one another, “we should all be able to figure everything out.” Spotts calls him “an angel that flies in, does good, and then flies away.”
