Woman Warning Others To Not Pop Pimples In "The Triangle Of Death"

Lish Marie is a young lady who posted a video on TikTok from the Emergency Room of her local hospital. She had popped a zit underneath her left nostral She says within a few hours she knew she had a much bigger problem than the zit. Her face was getting more painful with time and was starting to balloon up. By hour four if she tried to smile only one side would rise. What she found out at the hospital was that she had popped a zit in "the triangle of death".

Dermatologist Dr. Mark Strom says “The area of the face from the bridge of the nose down to the corners of the mouth has veins that connect directly to the brain via a blood vessel called the cavernous sinus, also known as the triangle of death because when you squeeze a zit there, you leave a small open wound through which bacteria (like from your hands or the air) can enter the bloodstream. This can lead to infection, which may then be carried to the brain. Complications can include blindness, stroke, paralysis and even death.
