Capsules packed with freeze-dried poo is becoming a hot treatment from everything advanced cancer to liver disease. The fecal transplants are now the focus of UK researchers, who are testing whether the freeze‑dried stool from healthy donors can knock out antibiotic‐resistant bacteria hiding in patients’ guts. Some patients in a group were given the “crapsules” and they ended up having healthier gut bacteria. The scientists say the poop pills could end up replacing antibiotics to treat many health issues.
