A two-year-old boy in Silver Spring, Maryland is recovering at home after experiencing what medical personnel describe as "God performing a miracle".
Last Thursday afternoon the child was with his parents visiting a family at The Enclave apartment complex. He went out on the balcony but the adults felt he was safe since there's 5 feet tall protective plexiglass so no one can fall off. Yet police theorize the boy dragged a chair to the glass he must have even jumped up to get his hands on top of the glass and with a shocking amount of strength pulled himself up and over. He then fell 15 stories!
Fox 5 DC reports that Dr. Katie Donnelly, "I want to stress first that this is really miraculous. Falls from this height are usually pretty devastating."
Authorities believe bushes at the base of the building may have cushioned the boy’s fall. He has a broken leg and some internal injuries but has already been sent home and is expected to make a full recovery.
