Monday afternoon a little after 3 on the south side of Los Angeles near Long Beach in a section of the city known as Wilmington, a woman named Ivonne was walking out to her car. Across the street she saw a man she estimated to be in his late 20's or early 30's talking to a girl while walking. We later find out the girl is 11. Ivonne tells Fox News "I didn't know either of them but her body language told me she was nervous maybe scared of him. I told him to leave her alone. He said 'it's my niece, mind your business'. But Ivonne escalated it by calling for her brother to come out here. The guy then turns and leaves the girl making a beeline for his car. A grey Nissan Kicks. Ivonne tried following in her car while calling 9-11.
This morning LA Police arrested 30 year old Jose Jaime, of Hawthorne, CA. He's being held on a million dollar bond.
