Community Rallies To Save Baby After Mom Is Incapcitated

Nancy Her from Roseville, Minnesota, collapsed while working and paramedics quickly determined it was an ischemic stroke. A blood clot formed somewhere outside of her brain and traveled up into her brain shutting down the blood flow. She's had two surgeries and is now in a come in a long-term care facility. Her husband Eugene is devastated but has to now manage raising their 4 children on his own for the foreseeable future. .

One of the biggest concerns is their nine-month-old daughter, Samantha.

Samantha is allergic to formula and relies on her mother for breast milk.

Nancy's sister Audrey Yang shared the situation on social media, and the community responded.

New moms around Roseville began donating breast milk to help feed Samantha.

Audrey says they now have enough milk to last for the next two months, “Then we might need just a little bit more to get her by to her 12-month mark.”

A crowdfund campaign has raised over $26-thousand to help them with medical expenses..

As for her sister Audrey says "At this point, we know it requires a miracle, and so we know it's completely out of our control. And so we're all grieving in different ways, but we're all also leaning on our faith to help us get through and to help us find some peace and acceptance about this. But having the people in Roseville, many of them folks we've never met, give what they can to help us, we take comfort in that because it's proof to us that God is with us".
