Airline Offering Middle Seat Upgrade

Frontier Airlines is rolling out a new feature called "UpFront Plus" where passengers can basically buy out the middle seat in the row they’re sitting in. It's aimed at giving folks more personal space…while avoiding those awkward armrest battles. For $49, you get both armrests, some extra legroom, and the perk of being among the first to deplane.

However, it's only available for the first two rows on certain flights, and some might wonder if it's worth the extra cost…especially when Frontier is known for its budget-friendly fares. The new feature rolls out April 10th, but the $49 fee might fluctuate based on demand. Meanwhile, the debate over airplane etiquette continues, especially when it comes to who gets control of those precious armrests.
