The Woman Miranda Lambert Scolded Responds

Adela Calin said Miranda stopped midway through her performance of "Tin Man" after spotting her and five of her friends posing for a photo. "It was 30 seconds at most," Calin, said in a phone interview. "We took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down." Lambert wasn't having it, saying from the stage, "I’m gonna stop right here for a sec. These girls are worried about a selfie and not listening to the song, and it’s pi**ing me off a little bit." The video clip went viral (of course), with the Internet divided on whether Miranda was in the right - or whether she was being rude to fans.

Miranda herself has not acknowledged the incident, but Calin said, "It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place. I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature and vain. But we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture."
