Jamie Lee Curtis Brother In Law Throws Himself Dress Rehearsal Funeral

Jamie Lee Curtis’ brother-in-law threw himself a funeral recently. Anthony Haden-Guest, who’s an 86-year-old British-American writer, cartoonist and poet, threw himself a “dress rehearsal” funeral / celebration of life on Sunday at friend Libbie Mugrabi’s upper East Side estate.

When asked why he was doing this he said 'I needed a dress rehearsal...And I don’t like to miss a party.'

Haden-Guest laid in the middle of the room with a white sheet over his body and pennies on his eyes as friends tossed roses onto him and drank $10,000 worth of Cristal champagne while snacking on cucumber sandwiches. However, the “Guest” of honor doesn’t seem too worried about the actual afterlife. When asked if he thinks he's going to heaven or hell, the former cartoonist replied, “I don’t think people go to heaven or hell. Can you imagine how bored you’d be in heaven you’d want to leave after 20 minutes.”
