Man Turns His Love For Gunsmoke & Rawhide Into A Career

Jack Sorensen is 69 years old and grew up on a steady diet of western shows and movies. He decided that was the life he wanted to lead. So while other teenager's got jobs in retail he got a job driving a stagecoach at a park called Six Gun City 50 miles from his house in NM. He went on to become a gun fighter at the park and when it closed became a horse trainer.

However it was later in life that he decided to start trying to paint old west images. Many of them are based off his favorite shows. Turns out lots of people loved the old west!

Now he's a very wealthy artist who owns his own gallery in Santa Fe.

His life advice is, follow your passions. I loved old westerns and just wanted to be associated with them. It turns out that we you're all in you can work harder than people who are just doing it for a check. Plus you're a lot happier!
