UPS Driver Builds Ramp For Elderly Customer

UPS employee Greg Schneider, heard that 76-year-old Vietnam veteran David Wray fell down the steps at his home of nearly 50 years in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Greg put together a group of men with construction skills and built David a ramp so that wouldn't happen again.

Then he formed a non profit called Operation Ramp It Up where their goal is to install ramps in homes in all 50 states. This isn't just for veterans but anyone suffering a disability in need of a ramp.

Back to David Wray and his response to his new ramp. “Man, I wasn’t expecting anything like this,” Wray says. “I was shocked when I saw all of them show up this morning. And what they have built will make the remainder of my life so much better".
