After a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Hybla Valley, Virginia, an unnamed man stepped in to detain the suspect Francisco Juares, 22, until police arrived. Fairfax County Police say the good Samaritan heard the gunshots and ran to the neighbors apartment to prevent the alleged shooter from escaping until law enforcement could get there.

The victim D’Mari Norris, 21, was shot multiple times, transported to the hospital and later died of his injuries. When police arrived, the suspected shooter was being held down by the good Samaritan. Police arrested Francisco and charged him with murder.. An investigation of the incident is ongoing.
