As you probably are aware, I'm a big fan of animals...especially those at a bit of a disadvantage. So this story stuck out to me. A baby emu named Lemu at a sanctuary in North Carolina got a new ride! The little fella had a slipped tendon and was being kept in a tote bag prior to being taken to the sanctuary. But, as most animals are, little Lemu was tough and is bouncing back. He got a custom wheelchair and now off and running! Check it out.
