Will Smith has been under a lot of scrutiny since the Oscars slap a few weeks ago. Some people have gone through his wife's social media accounts and found an Instagram live that Jada posted in 2019.
She was trying to promote her podcast The Red Table with her guest that week Esther Perel who had given the couple some counseling.
“You know [therapist] Esther Perel is coming to the table — she’s gonna be at the ‘Red Table.'”
She then turns the camera on to Will and asks: “Would you say she has been instrumental in you and I redefining our relationship?”
Smith says: “I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me.”
Jada looks at the camera and says she is "still dealing with foolishness.” She then reiterates the question. “Would you say that she helped us heal the hurts that we caused between one another?”
Will looks like he's going to cry and he responds “My social media presence is my bread and butter. So you can’t just use me for social media. Don’t just start rolling; I’m standing in my house. Don’t start rolling.”
In June of 2020 Will went on her podcast and was by most accounts humiliated by his wife when she announced that she had an affair with a young man. She went on to say that Will didn't have a vote in her personal life and she did it to make herself happy.
