Drawing Bought For $30 Worth Millions

In 2019, art collector Clifford Schorer was on his way to a party and realized he’d forgotten to pick up a gift for the host, so he stopped by a vintage bookstore on the way. While looking for a book he noticed a drawing and asked about it. He was told it was a copy of a drawing done by a famous renaissance artist Albrecht Dürer, He bought it on the spot for $30.

Cliff thought to himself "this is either the greatest forgery I've ever seen or a legitimate masterpiece." He took it to art experts who for the last 3 years have been examining it. The drawing is believed to have been completed in 1503 and has been verified as an original. Considering what other old master drawings from other Renaissance artists have sold for in the past, he believes the artwork could sell for more than $10-million at auction.
