An anonymous stranger picks up the dinner tab for three foster moms and their combined 22 children. Foster moms Haylee Robuck, Kayla Miller, and Brittney Ward brought their 22 kids to dinner at Toots West restaurant in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. "We took up three tables, and two of the three tables have kids on kids all over it," says Robuck. The group had their meals, but when it was time to settle their tab, someone had already picked up the check for them.
While the large group was enjoying their meals, a woman sitting at the restaurant’s bar overheard that the kids were all in foster care and was touched by the story. "She was just so overwhelmed and really moved that somebody actually stood up to take care of someone else's responsibilities," server Adrian Maddox says about the kind stranger. So moved that the woman paid for their entire bill.
While the woman wanted to remain anonymous, the three moms were touched that a stranger could be so generous. "They assumed that we were doing good, and they paid that forward,” says Miller. “So, I am sure at one point we will do that to another family." But the stranger’s point was: they already are paying it forward.
