New Burial Technique Allows You To Become Part Of A Reef

Here’s a new way to memorialize ourselves after death.

A Florida-based company is offering families a unique way to memorialize loved ones. Eternal Reefs combines cremated remains with a reef ball, before submerging it onto the ocean floor.

Over two-thousand eternal reefs have been placed off the east coast of America. They now have an office in North Myrtle Beach SC at 1525 13th Avenue North. The company's CEO says this concept of memorialization can be used "as a tool to improve the marine environment."

Not only can you be added to a piece of reef, but a family pet… or several… can be too!

Families can expect to pay anywhere from two-thousand to eight-thousand dollars, depending on size and family involvement in the process.
