Tanya Roberts, the former Bond girl collapsed after returning at home after walking her dogs on Christmas Eve.
As the story was, Roberts was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and put on a ventilator - not from Covid - but didn’t recover, passing away on Saturday. Her rep, Mike Pingel, even quoted her boyfriend, Lance O'Brien, whom he gave a ride home from the hospital who said “As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes. Then she died in my arms”
Lance got word from the hospital YESTERDAY saying that Tanya is still alive. So how was she dead and now alive? No one seems to know exactly, but Pingel says O'Brien truly believed Tanya had died...and called people to share the sad news. At this point, there’s no word on her actual medical condition isn’t known. Lance says “I don’t want to blame [Pingel] in any way, shape or form. She's been basically in a coma for 3 days and opened her eyes for a moment but then she drifted off again and I basically had lost all hope. I was in total shock, and I did say goodbye to her.’’
Lance says the problem was “she had a urinary tract infection that got out of control and her condition was compounded by her having Hepatitis C when she was younger. What happened was her kidneys degraded, her liver degraded, then her gall bladder degraded, then she got a blood infection in her entire body.’’
Who is Lance O'Brien? There have been differing reports on him being the Roberts' boyfriend or husband (he has apparently referred to himself both ways). And while all that gets sorted, there's something else. O'Brien was giving an interview to "Inside Edition" yesterday when he got the call that she's still alive.
