Hulu is removing the episodes that feature blackface in "Scrubs" according to a report in Deadline
The streaming service has decided to pull three episodes of the medical comedy that features characters in blackface. The 3 episodes are “My Fifteen Seconds” from season 3 as well as “My Jiggly Ball” and “My Chopped Liver” from season 5.
Reports say the show's creator Bill Lawrence and ABC Studios requested Hulu remove those episodes.
It started when a Twitter user said Hulu needed to follow “30 Rock’s” lead who had pulled their blackface episodes earlier this week. Bill Lawrence replied “Agreed. Already in the works.”
