My 27 year old son sometimes aches about his aching back and says "I'm getting old". I tell him wait till your my age! (I'm 52). But it turns out that we don't really start feeling old till 57. That's according to a new survey commissioned by a home health test company called Let's Get Checked finds that 57 is the age American's start to really feel old.
The top concerns regarding age include:
- Over all health (39%)
- Wrinkles (36%)
- Weight gain (36%)
- Gray hair (35%)
- Hair loss (34%)
- Not being able to take care of themselves (34%)
- Age spots (34%)
- Being seen as “old” (33%)
- Financial security (33%)
- Losing their independence (19%)
