A U.K. couple who had to postpone their wedding because of the coronavirus ended up saying “I do” in a surprise ceremony arranged by their kids.Louis, 10, and his sister, eight-year-old Ruby, arranged the big day for their mom and dad in their garden.
The kiddos set it all up while mom,Kim-Marie Gerrard, and dad, Mark Tooth, were sleeping. They woke them up on what would’ve been their wedding day and told them to get dressed because they were getting married. Louis wore his suit and officiated the ceremony and Ruby filled in as wedding photographer.
The kid knew all the important things to say during the ceremony, asking his dad, “Do you Mark take Kim to be her friend,” and adding, “Dad, you had better say ‘I do.’”
The couple is also planning to have an official wedding ceremony when the government allows them again.
