Rob Lowe wants to star in a Joe Exotic adaptation.

The actor and screenwriter Ryan Murphy have been discussing a scripted project. Lowe wants the role of Joseph Maldonado-Passage, the lead character from Netflix's docuseries "Tiger King."
It is not yet known if the project would be a movie or a limited series, but Lowe is teasing it on social media. Murphy co-created “911:Lonestar,” which stars his friend Lowe. He also wrote Glee, and signed a 300 million dollar deal with Netflix in 2018 to create shows and movies.
