British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive today for COVID19. 5 days earlier, on Monday he had issued a shelter in place order. 5 days before that he had asked his friend James Dyson, of Dyson vacuums if he thought his company could make ventilators. Yesterday James delivered 10,000!
This new ventilator has been designed to “address the specific needs” of coronavirus patients, Dyson explains. Dyson is also donating 5-thousand of their new CoVents to “the international effort to tackle the pandemic.”
"This new device can be manufactured quickly, efficiently and at volume," Dyson says.
As for Johnson he will self-isolate for seven days in No 11 Downing Street. His meals will be left outside the door for him so he won’t come into contact with others.He said he started feeling symptoms yesterday afternoon. Had the test late last night and it was confirmed this morning.
