SC Cracks The Top 10 In Most Sinful States

WalletHub has just come out with their annual list of the Most Sinful States in the U.S., judging states on 47 key indicators that fall into seven categories – Anger and Hatred, Jealousy, Excesses and Vices, Lust, Vanity and Laziness.

So, which state is the most sinful?

  • Yup, likely thanks to Vegas, Nevada does top the list yet again.
  • The gambling, eating, and partying mecca scores a 55.99 out of 100, and not only tops the list for greed, but is also in the Top Five for jealousy, and lust, and is at six for both laziness, and excesses and vices.

  2. Texas
  3. Florida
  4. California
  5. Georgia
  6. Tennessee
  7. Louisiana
  8. Illinois
  9. South Carolina
  10. Mississippi 
  • On the flip side, Vermont ranks dead last on the list with an overall index score of just 25.67.
  • Vermont comes in last for jealousy and lust, and pretty low for vanity and laziness, although it does rank in the Top Ten for greed at number nine.
