Early Thursday afternoon severe thunderstorms are forecast to hit the Midlands. Here's a list of early releases and after school cancellations that we have received so far. We'll update the list if we get more.
Lee County School District will dismiss early on Thursday.
Lee County elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
Lee County middle and high schools will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. In addition, all after school programs and extracurricular activities are cancelled.
Richland 1: High Schools dismiss at 11am, Elementary at 12pm, and middle schools at 1pm
Richland 2: High Schools dismiss at 2pm, Elementary at 1:15pm, and middle schools at 12:30pm
Lexington 1: High Schools dismiss at 12:15pm, Elementary at 11:15am, and middle schools at 12:15pm
Lexington 2: High Schools dismiss at 12pm, Elementary at 11am, and middle schools at 12pm
Lexington 4: Early dismissal 1 hour today
Fairfield County, Richland 1, Richland 2, Lexington 1, 2, 3, and Lex-Rich 5, Sumter school districts have all cancelled after school programs and extracurricular activities.
