Ryan Clancy, is the owner of the amusement center Bounce and Fling in Milwaukee WI. He wanted to raise money for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as a small way of thanking them for saving his sons life when his kidney's failed. He used a single machine for 32-hours and two minutes, only taking a five-minute break every hour to eat, drink and use the restroom. His hands had to be on the flippers the rest of the time. Prior to his attempt, Clancy got advice and encouragement from the now former record holder, Wayne Johns of the UK who had set the record at 30 hours and 10 minutes.
