A Michigan man has finally won with the lottery. The anonymous 42-year-old tells lottery officials "I have been playing the same set of number for 10 years, which are a combination of dates and lucky numbers. I had a hunch years ago that these numbers would hit. That hunch never changed so I stuck with them. I was leaving the country for a few weeks and decided to purchase a multi-draw ticket before I left to make sure I didn't miss any draws, and I'm so happy that I did! I found out I won when I checked the numbers overseas. I couldn't wait to get home to claim my prize! I got off my flight this morning and came straight to the lottery to claim my prize."
As you can see he paid for 17 drawings for $34. $2 a ticket for 5 drawings a week. That's $10 a week or $520 a year. If his memory is correct and it's been 10 years he's invested $5200 and just won $100,000 so it worked out great!
