Woman Spends Entire Stimulus Check To Spread Joy To Kids

A woman in Pawtucket, Rhode Island came up with a unique way to lift people’s spirits. Nancy Connor, 86, has created a “zoo” in her front yard and says she used every penny of her stimulus money to build the stuffed animal attraction.

"I thought when I got the check 'what can I do that will make me really happy'? I like kids and love to see them smile, so a stuffed animal zoo would make them smile and make me happy"!

With the help of a neighbor, she started building the "zoo".

Was it worth it? "Absolutely! They come by, they walk and point, and the kids smile it's totally worth all the effort I've put into it because everybody looks happy that comes by."

It’s worth everything,” Nancy says. “It makes me happy to see people happy again, even if it’s only for a couple of minutes.”
