Verizon Spokesman Getting Divorced Over Swinging Lifestyle

Thomas Middleditch stars in a show I've never seen called Silicon Valley on HBO. According to his Wikipedia page he also voiced Penn Zero in the Disney XD animated series Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero(2014–2017) and Harold Hutchins in Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie(2017). The way I know him is from the Verizon ads.

Anyways he shocked some people with an interview he did last September with Playboy in which he boasted that swinging “saved” his marriage.

"Only after I got married was I like, “Mollie, I’m sorry, but we have to get nontraditional here.” To her credit, instead of saying “F--- you, I’m out,” she was like, “Let’s figure this out.” To be honest, swinging has saved our marriage. We have different speeds, and we argue over it constantly, but it’s better than feeling unheard and alone and that you have to scurry in the shadows. By the way, it’s now called being “part of the lifestyle.” The term swinging is old".

So he's offended by the term swinging but not the act of having multiple sex partners.

Anyways he may have spoke too soon on that "saved" thing.

In court docs obtained by People his wife, Mollie Gates, filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. I'm guessing the irreconcilable differences were his love of strangers naughty bits.
